About: Big Wish is a social & visual wish list for kids that helps families and friends buy gifts through a social commerce website and mobile app.
Creative Thinking: My idea for Big Wish was to create an iconic symbol/mark that would be fresh, timeless, fun, kids-friendly and would fit the identity of the company like a glove. I designed a big star (like the icons used for online wish lists) that would be wrapped up as a present with a bow (presents/gifts). The logo is cleverly using negative space (the bow is actually cutting the star leaving a hole behind) and to give it some emphasis it is all inside a bigger star shape.
