About: The Facebook Factory is a personal digital art painting.
Creative Thinking: The Facebook Factory is a controversal digital illustration portraying the users of facebook as lifeless clones plugged in a factory production line. They all have the same characteristics (black silhouettes) carrying identical bar code suitcases (lack of individuality) and their faces are replaced by bible books (a religious depiction of the word facebook). The idea behind this illustration is to express how the excessive use of facebook can affect our everyday lives and make us blind followers of a newly formed social media religion. People are essentially turned into a product, manufactured and manipulated by social media without even realising it.
