About: Seguros Venezuela is an insurance company located in Venezuela, South America.
Creative Thinking: The brief for Seguros Venezuela demanded a logo that stayed away from the usual locks, umbrellas, etc that are usually associated with insurance companies. After some research on Venezuela, I discovered that the yellow-orange Venezuelan Troupial is the national bird of Venezuela, national protector so to speak, so I decided to create a stong mark by incorporating their national bird into my logo design. The Troupial is sitting on the letter V of the SV initials like its sitting on a branch feeling safe and secure. The Letters S and V are connected forming a stong bond, locked together, securely. Also the bird is looking at its back which also means that it's protecting everyone else. That's what Seguros Venezuela stands for.
